South Africa oil spill

The MV Jolly Roger spills oil into the sea, September 2002, after running aground on reefs off the UNESCO World Heritage Site of St Lucia, 150 miles north-east of Durban on South Africa’s east coast. A fire in the engine room spread to the hold, causing the crew to abandon ship.
